Suddenly - this morning - snow, and it is still snowing, and we have at least 30 cm now... yesterday I was at VanDusen Garden - just in time !!!

  thank you, Matthias ... I have mixed feelings, love to look at the beautiful Winter landscape, take photos .... but driving is not fun - our city has not got enough equipment to take care of snowfalls ... and then comes the time of thaw - it is a mess here currently ... Vancouver winters are normally just rain and more rain, so,
  a onetime snowfall is enough :-))

  I'm a bit surprised that there isn't more snow in Vancouver. But yes, it's further south than where I live in Germany, and the location by the sea will also have an influence.
  We've also had 4 days of snow here. Today it's +10°C and the snow has disappeared. But it's raining again. We share a little bit the weather of Vancouver :-).

  we are at about the same level as Paris - 48 North .... so often the wheather is just like my brother's and sister's in the Muensterland ... the rain is back, 30cm of snow have almost disappeared, no more ice ...bye the way: compliments on your flawless English - rare here !!
